Gosh, Sylma - that was a challenge: find your mistake. I found what you were referring too, but I didn't see anything wrong with it since I figured it was a wish for today. Was getting out an adventure at all?

Jerri, glad Doyle's doing better, hope Tara's migraine goes away.

Extra good thoughts and prayers for Patti & Jerri with the pain, and gosh, Patti, I hope the doctor will find some option that helps more than just dealing with the pain. You're worth whatever it takes.

Kittens. Sylma, shall we find a way to ship the litter directly to Patti? I'll help plan the rescue! But won't take any kittehs.

The dog from last week hasn't been adopted yet, strangely enough. He is so sweet. But he went back to the play tonight, and maybe someone there will decide to come get him. They had a 10th anniversary celebration of the shelter building this afternoon with lots of folks bringing their adopted dogs back to show off (and lots of tears from Kay, who runs the shelter, when she saw how wonderfully the dogs are doing). They also had Lucky Chance there, the horse that was dragged behind the trailer by a drunk driver and had skin grafts for his seriously damaged side. This was his first "public appearance" and he loved everybody. Patti - cooking. Tonight I cut a generous butterflied pork chop into 2 nice chops; put some flour, pepper, salt on them and browned both sides in a little oil in a hot skillet, then partly covered and cooked on low til they were done. Sliced some squash and steamed it with a little onion, sliced a fresh tomato, and that was supper. Hungry anyway.
